Based sway on SwayFX, plus a developer's toolbox that's already wired in. It's the edition we work in ourselves.

What's on it

• Docker Engine from Docker's own apt repository, the C and C++ build toolchain and the OpenSSH client, in the image.
• Language toolchains through mise. Pick them at first login or later from Omarchy's Install > Development menu; they build into your home directory, no sudo needed.
• Neovim set up the way upstream Omarchy sets it up. Install another editor if you'd rather; nothing stops you.
• KDE Connect for your phone and Thunderbird for mail. Fractal, GNOME's Matrix app, installs when you connect a chat account.

It wants 4 GB of RAM, where the home editions get by with less.

Installing it

The ISO is live: it boots straight to this desktop without touching your disk, and the installer is on the desktop when you're ready. The download page covers checking the image and writing it to a USB stick.
