What's on it
- GNOME's own apps: Files, Text Editor, Papers, Loupe, Maps and Weather. Older GTK3 apps wear adw-gtk3, so they don't look borrowed next to the new ones.
- Thunderbird for mail, calendar and contacts in one window. Any IMAP account works, and so does any CalDAV or CardDAV server.
- Zen as the browser, in GNOME's colours from the first login. A site you keep open all day can become a window of its own.
- Flathub, already set up. Drop an AppImage into
~/Applicationsand it shows up in the app grid by itself.
Installing it
The ISO is live: it boots straight to this desktop without touching your disk, and the installer is on the desktop when you're ready. The download page covers checking the image and writing it to a USB stick.
